Sam Howell announced a Clemson offer via social media Thursday night.
Howell is no stranger to campus, having competed in Dabo Swinney's camp and he also visited this past season for the Auburn game. Listed 6-foot-2 and 212 pounds, Howell has thrown for over 10,000 yards (10,175) through three seasons at Sun Valley High School with 109 touchdowns to 33 interceptions. As a junior, Howell added 1,594 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns. Rated the No. 5 Pro-Style QB in the nation by Rival.com, Howell also holds offers from West Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, Ole Miss, among more Power 5 schools.
