Vegas odds on Clemson-Boston College

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson (5-0, 7-0 ACC) has opened up as a massive 34-point home favorite against Boston College (2-2, 4-3 ACC) for Saturday's primetime ACC matchup (7:30 p.m./ACCN).

Currently, the spread as of this hour is 33.5 points for the home Tigers.

Don't sleep on the BC Eagles as they ran through North Carolina State this past Saturday, winning by a score of 45-24. Star running back A.J. Dillon had 34 carries for 223 yards with three rushing touchdowns and back-up running back David Bailey had 16 rushes for 181 yards and two scores.

On the season, Dillon has 178 rushes for 968 yards and nine touchdowns.

Clemson being able to slow down their running game and make them one-dimensional will be the key to the game.

The Tigers have been rolling statistically this season, averaging 40 points and game and holding opponents on only 12 points. On the other hand, the Eagles score, on average, 33 points while giving up 28 points per game.
