Gallman and Kamara still 100 percent committed to Clemson |
Wayne Gallman
Wayne Gallman TigerNet spoke with Gallman, a running back with ten touchdowns on the season at Grayson, and he said he can’t wait to get to Clemson. “I really can’t wait to move in,” he said. “Clemson is where I want to be. I know I will be up there without my family, learning new plays, sitting in the film room. I know it will be a new experience for me. I can’t wait for that.” Gallman said he and Nkemdiche spoke at length this week about Nkemdiche’s decision, and he has no idea which way his teammate is leaning. “I talked to him and we talked about a lot of different things,” Gallman said. “I really don’t know where he is going to go, but I hope that it is Clemson. If it’s Ole Miss, then I will stand behind him the whole way.” In the meantime, Gallman has been keeping an interested eye on the happenings at Clemson, and he sees an offense that he can’t wait to be a part of. “I have watched every single game, and I will be up there for another visit this weekend when they play Maryland,” he said. “I know I have a lot to learn, but I am so excited I can’t wait. I actually look at the whole offense and I look at the running backs. Whenever he [Andre Ellington] has to take on a defense it is fun to watch. He can block, and then whenever he gets the ball he cuts so quick and is so low to the ground. He is really fast.” Gallman said he is in almost constant contact with the Clemson coaches, but got a special call from offensive coordinator
Chad MorrisChad Morris “I hear from them every week. I just got off the phone with Coach Morris not too long ago,” Gallman said. “Usually, [recruiter] Coach [Tony] Elliott calls me, but tonight it was Coach Morris. He told me he really can’t wait until I get up there. He kept talking about the season going by so quick, and how it seems like it just started. He is really fired up to get me up there.” He said he knows the Tigers will miss Ellington next season, and he hopes he can come in and make a difference. “My thoughts are straightforward. I am ready to play,” he said. “I told all the coaches to be ready, cause I am coming. I am not taking any plays or any days off.” NOTE: TigerNet also texted back and forth with defensive back David Kamara, who also said he is 100 percent committed to Clemson.
