My abs are more like the entire washing machine that my mother had in the 1950s. Only much softer.

All those calisthenic bits are great, but you aren't going to lose weight and build meaningful muscle with them alone.

The absolute best at home workout program I ever tried...

was T-25 by Beachbody. There are three levels (Alpha, Beta and Gamma). This may not work for everyone but, combined with managing your diet, it worked for me. I went from 230 pounds to 185 pounds in less than a year. A lot of plyo, cardio, burpees, and squatting so if you're older (like I am now) and your knees make you feel even older still some days, this may not be an ideal choice for you. However, the program does have a lower impact option.

The only exercise for abs is this.

Plant two hands firmly on the table, push hard, stand up and walk away.
