Ben Batson from Clemson, SC has signed his NLI as a preferred walk-on at Clemson on Wednesday.
Batson is the son of long-time Clemson strength and conditioning coach Joey Batson. Clemson has offered the two-star prospect a walk-on spot as an athlete and could one day play at the safety position. As a senior at Dorman high school, he was named Region 3 5A Player of the Year as he completed 58.8% for 1792 yards with 13 passing touchdowns and only four interceptions.
