Clemson has been the longtime favorite for Byrnes linebacker Stanley Hunter. Hunter has publicly listed Clemson as his favorite since the beginning. Sunday night, he gave an update on his favorites.

"Clemson is still my leader. I am probably going to have a press conference during the summer, and everything will be made official."

David Blackwell has already secured a verbal commitment from Byrnes teammate Willy Korn, and he has done a solid job with Hunter as well.

"Coach Blackwell has been great since the very beginning. He has always been very up front with me. He would be my position coach at Clemson. There is so much that I could learn from him. I watch how well his linebackers played last season, and think about what I could do there."

Clemson is not without competition for Hunter.

"Virginia Tech just offered me. Florida State has been talking to me a lot. I called Coach (Kevin Steele). FSU could offer me, but I am pretty sure I know where I am going."

We will continue to project Hunter to Clemson, as it is a matter of time before he makes his announcement.
