When Clemson offered Mason Cloy, the Tigers were one of about three schools to offer the center prospect. Now, Cloy has plenty of options.
"Things have picked up over the last month or so. It is nice to be recruited by all of these schools. I am not ready to name a leader." Clemson, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, Southern Miss, and Vanderbilt have all offered Cloy. Cloy has ties to North Carolina and South Carolina through teammates. "B.J. (Phillips) signed with North Carolina last year. It would be nice to continue to play with him in college. Quintin (Richardson) is committed to South Carolina. Both of them made the decision that was best for them, and I am going to make the best decision for me. I will sit down with my family before making any decision." Cloy is expected to be at the Nike Camp at Clemson in May. We believe the Tigers are in a good position with Cloy heading into May.
