Reports surfaced earlier today that Antonio Clay had committed to Oklahoma. Clay had committed to Oklahoma over the summer and backed off. Clay also briefly committed to Miami, then decommitted. We reached Clay's uncle this evening trying to confirm the report.

His uncle told us that Antonio had committed to Oklahoma. However, his uncle did say that as a family they still have somethings to talk about, and that a lot had happened today that he preferred not going on record with.

We reported last night that Coach Tommy Bowden would join Ron West for an in home visit today. Coach Bowden did not make the trip, however Coach West did. Coach West had just left shortly before, we spoke with Clay's uncle. The visit was described as a productive one.

As for now, the status is that Clay is committed to Oklahoma. As more to the story unfolds, we will have the news for you. This could be a battle that goes down to the wire, that changes several times between now and Signing Day.
