Former Clemson RB signs with Broncos

Former Clemson running back Zac Brooks has signed on Wednesday to the practice squad of the Denver Broncos.

Brooks battled hamstring issues during the offseason and training camp. He ended up playing in two NFL preseason games with the Seattle Seahawks and had six carries for 17 yards and a four-yard catch.

During the season, he spent time with Seattle's and Kansas City's practice squads. In 2016, he has played in two total NFL regualar season games and has seven carries for 21 yards.

Brooks was drafted #247 overall by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

In 2015 at Clemson, Brooks had 41 attempts for 234 yards and three rushing touchdowns and also had nine receptions for 113 yards and two scores. For his career, he had 607 yards on only 116 carries and 17 receptions for 197 receiving yards and eight total scores.
