Clemson DE target commits to Alabama

by - Staff Writer -

Clemson 2019 DE target Justin Eboigbe (Forest Park, Ga.) announced a commitment to Alabama on Monday.

Eboigbe had included Clemson in his latest top schools lists, including a final five with the Crimson Tide, Auburn, Georgia and Tennessee. He had eliminated Florida, FSU, Mississippi State, Notre Dame and Oklahoma previously.

Eboigbe visited for Clemson's Junior Day last on March 3. He is rated as high as the No. 11 defensive end in the nation by ESPN.

Alabama extended its lead atop the 2019 247Sports Team Composite rankings with a 16-commit class, while Notre Dame's addition of Zeke Correll moved them to No. 4 ahead Clemson in fifth.
