Clemson coaches stop in to watch instate 5-star's game

by -

Clemson's defensive coaching staff stopped in Tuesday for the second time in less than a week to watch 247Sports Composite 5-star defensive end Jordan Burch play basketball for Columbia's Hammond School.

Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables and defensive assistants Todd Bates and Mike Reed were spotted in the crowd to watch the defender, who is rated as high as the No. 2 SDE in the nation (247Sports) and a consensus top player in the state.

Burch was among the visitors for Elite Junior Day weekend in Clemson last week, a night after the Clemson coaching staff - including head coach Dabo Swinney - attended another of his games.
