Andre Ellington injury update

by - Assoc. Editor -

Former Clemson standout Andre Ellington is still dealing with foot pain according to Cardinals' head coach Bruce Arians. He told the media on Monday that Ellington will get Wednesday off and hopes that he will practice Thursday and Friday in preparation for the 49ers.

“By after the bye week, he’ll be fine,” Arians said.

Ellington on the season has 28 rushes for 144 yards (5.1 average) and also has 6 catches for 37 yards. Ellington and former Clemson kicker Chandler Catanzaro (4-4 FG) were two of the 5 players that received game balls after the 25-14 win over the Giants.
