Brad Felder faces life without baseball |
From Times and Democrat:
Felder concluded his lone season with the Tigers with a strong performance at the NCAA Columbia Regional. He led all batters with eight hits, batted .471 (8-17) with three RBIs and four runs scored in four games and had several putouts on defense, including an outfield assist against Coastal Carolina.
“I talked to my mom ... and she told me I needed to start looking for a job, so I guess I’ll start doing that tomorrow,” he said. “It kind of sucks for it to end like that. I feel like I’ve got a lot left in my tank and I know that I could provide something for a lot of teams if they just give me a chance, but there’s not much I can do to convince them at this point to pick me up.”
