Clemson held its annual celebrity softball game on Monday night at Fluor Field in Greenville.
Dabo Swinney led the Orange Team with men’s assistant basketball coach Dick Bender taking charge of the Purple Team. Special Celebrity guests included head baseball coach Monte Lee, Clemson’s first head softball coach John Rittman, Woody Dantzler, Travis Blanks, Patrick Sapp, Eric Mac Lain, Michael Allen, Rashad Hall, James Trapp, Robert Smith and TigerNet's David Hood. The Purple team got the win 15-11 with Hood getting both the win and the save. The Orange team loaded the bases with one out in the last inning and Hood was called on to relieve Rashard Hall. Hood got David Wilkins to ground out to end the game. Lee was 3-3 while Swinney was 3-4.
