Vegas line moves as pro betters pick Clemson over Alabama |
Clemson-Alabama IV is almost here as new bets are pouring in for No. 2 Clemson.
The latest Vegas odds has Clemson only a 4.5 point underdog with an over-under at 59.5 at multiple sportsbooks. Sharp money from pro betters and people around Vegas have apparently determined that a full touchdown is too much for two seemingly equally matched teams. It didn't hurt that Clemson smacked Notre Dame 30-3 in the Cotton Bowl while Alabama's defense showed some vulnerability in the 45-34 win in the Orange Bowl. The line opened at -6.5 or -7 points after the CFB Playoff semifinals. Very early Vegas odds back in November had the spread at nine points in favor of Alabama. For you lucky few that made a bet for Clemson for eight or nine-point underdogs a few months ago, congrats and good luck!
