Floyd Mayweather bets heavy on Clemson

It's almost time for Clemson-Alabama III and boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is confident about the Tigers chances against No. 4 Alabama.

Mayweather just placed a $1.4 million bet on No. 1 Clemson to cover the 3.5 spread against the Crimson Tide.

According to a tweet by ESPN's David Payne, 56 percent of bets and 55 percent of the money is on the Tigers at Caesars Palace.

"This is possibly the most balanced we've been on the College Football Playoff since its inception," Payne posted.
