The NFL Combine can be a huge factor for the future of prospective NFL rookies.
Former Clemson receiver Deon Cain had his measurables done on Thursday morning and here is the latest: Height: 6-1 7/8 Weight: 202 Hand: 8 6/8 Arm: 33 Wingspan: 79 5/8 The hands are a little below average for NFL receivers as here are a few hand measurements of a few different pros: A.J. Green 9 1/3 inches Ashlon Jeffery 10 1/4 inches Leonard Hankerson 10 5/8 inches It certainly doesn't hurt to have big hands to grab the jump balls in tight coverage in the NFL. However, the rest of Cain's measurables are impressive including a wingspan of 79 5/8 inches. Cain led the Tigers in receiving yards (734) and touchdowns (6) last season. He told the AP recently that he expects to run a 40-time that will turn some heads in Indianapolis, estimating "low 4.3s, 4.2s."
