Alabama coach Nick Saban gave a blunt and short breakdown to ESPN of what went wrong for his No. 1 Crimson Tide to trail 31-16 at the half.

Saban said Clemson played "copycat" in finding plays that gave his defense issues all season

"We've executed well enough on offense to score a lot of points but we've turned the ball over and shot ourselves in the foot," Saban said. "But defensively we're going to have to play a lot better than what we're playing."
