Where did all these armadillos and coyotes come from?

I'm driving down 187 near Pendleton High about 930 last night and an armadillo the size of a pot belly pig strolls right in front of my truck and lodges into my grill. It actually jumped up into it. So, I pull over to check the damage. I waited a few minutes to let cars pass. Then, three coyotes come out of the woods and start eating the armadillo stuck in my grill. I just let them finish then left.

Correct. However, on the way to NYC to drop the migrants off, a few animals jumped ship in the Upstate.

You can thank the deer hunters who brought coyotes in to their fox pens so their hounds could train and also the the Department of Natural Resources for looking the other way when this practice started. The armadillos just simply started migrating.

They cross bridges like everybody else. God put rivers in certain places for a reason.
And the only good coyote is a dead coyote.

I kill my fair share. Trapping and 204 Ruger work on them pretty hard.

Cool story bro.... They say the dillos will make it all the way up to PA within a few years. I remember when the only time you saw them was when you went farther south. North FL. Around the gulf and TX.

Ahh, illegal border crossing armadillos and coyotes. Well that would make sense why Gov. Abbott is shipping them up here.
