Not saying he should be fired at all. Just saying he makes.

a boat load of $$$ and is constantly referred to as some offensive genius. However, his offense has looked very mediocre on numerous occasions when it really counts. he always seems to get a pass.

calling him out, i see media questioning clemson's offense disappearing for prolonged stretches in losses which leaves the coaching staff.
morris was asked specifically about the 2nd half, he admitted the shortcomings or offered reasons so it appears all that's left is to fire him.

Very good question: He has a lot of major flaws in his coaching. First of all, it is that he doesn't use slant passes and passes over the middle to TE's and to slot receivers in areas vacated by LBs. That is just plain dumb. Second, I cannot recall a game where we have come back against a good time after falling behind. Our offense looks great against weaker teams but poor against top teams. He is a relatively young college coach but candidly he would get 1-2 years more and if he doesn't improve in this area he'd be gone. There is no excuse for what we did when backed up inside our 20 yd line in the second half. There are plenty of so called "safer plays" that could have been called. He apparently doesnit see them.

Seems like his name was mentioned frequently for HC openings not that long ago.....that appears to have changed....should know plenty by Nov. Watson could make him look better by then.

People seem to give him a pass because he talks a big game.

He's hyper, he's animated, he studies a lot of film, and he drinks Red Bulls, so he must be really good at what he does. I beg to differ, based on how our offense performs against most good defenses.

I agree to some extent, for as much time he studies other programs, our offense is pretty vanilla. Running the same plays out of different sets doesn't fool good defenses. I have no doubt he has the football mind but he needs to develop a little more of that gunslinger attitude. The telling numbers are the double digit defeats. If you're losing, roll the dice, it becomes obvious that being conservative doesn't keep us in the ball game.

He won't, not as long as Dabo is there, he's too loyal to the point where it hurts and that includes to the upper classmen even if they are doing poorly also. Again, folks need to be thinking about change. More to come on this as the season unfolds.

DW changed the protection coverage at the line of scrimmage . Then TD. Maybe DW needs to call the plays.
