Trotter earns another national honor

The Walter Camp award honored Jeremiah Trotter Jr. for being the defensive player of the week. From the news release:

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

JEREMIAH TROTTER JR., CLEMSON
Junior, Linebacker, Hainesport, N.J.

Jeremiah Trotter, Jr. recorded a game-high 11 tackles (7 solo), including two quarterback sacks as Clemson defeated 15th-ranked Notre Dame, 31-23. Trotter also returned an interception for a touchdown as the Tigers improved to 5-4 on the season.

Notes: Jeremiah Trotter is the 12th Clemson player to earn Walter Camp National FBS Player of Week honors since 2004, and the first since Baylon Spector (LB, Oct. 4, 2020).
