Kelly Bryant Passing Breakdown By Distance BLOS:
57/63 (90.5%), 335 yards, 5.6 YPA, 6.2 YPA, 2 TD, 0 INT
0-5 Yards:
77/112 (68.8%), 614 yards, 5.5 YPA, 8.0 YPC, 1 TD, 1 INT
6-10 Yards:
49/70 (70.0%), 538 yards, 7.7 YPA, 11.0 YPC, 2 TD, 2 INT
11-15 Yards:
19/36 (52.8%), 294 Yards, 8.2 YPA, 15.5 YPC, 2 TD, 2 INT
16-20 Yards:
10/17 (58.8%), 245 Yards, 14.4 YPA, 24.5 YPC, 1 TD, 0 INT
21+ Yards:
9/35 (25.7%), 380 Yards, 10.9 YPA, 42.2 YPC, 4 TD, 1 INT
Bryant throws the ball 75% of the time up to 10 yards. He's 183/245 (75.5%) from 10 yards or less. He's only 38/88 (43.2%) 11 yards or more.
The kid is not a effective passer 10 yards and beyond. He's going to have to prove to us that he can consistently make those passes against us which I doubt he will.

The qb you better be worried about is your own! He has struggled mightily the past two games resulting in him getting benched in the final one.

Why does he have to prove anything about his long distance ability when he's completing 10 yard passes more than 75% of the time? That alone (never-mind rushing) will beat you.

Always good to hear from unbiased, sane people like yourself that truly work hard on giving out new information. Have you applied for work at ESPN ? They need people that provide real insight into college football like you. Merry Christmas and good luck filling up the stadium for the Orange Bowl and thank you ever so much again.

One of the two quarterbacks playing in this game were benched in their most recent game for not being able to complete passes, and it wasn't our guy.

A. How does that compare to other college quarterbacks ?
B. How does that compare to your quarterback ?
C. You do realize quarterbacks who released more quickly on short routes are less likely to get sacked right ?
D. Long passes are risky throws you do not need to make when you were moving the ball without them
E. How many times were opposing defenses call for pass interference on our long throws? that matters
Chew on those, genius

When there’s pass interference, the incompletion is not included in the stats.

No, We will stuff it like 2 years ago. Our defense tossed a shutout then and its even better and deeper now. Crack Kills and Miami is full of it. You may want to go to rehab before they find you on south beach chewing on someones face and have to put you down due to rabies.

Stats prove nothing! If I'm not mistaken the quarterback of whom you speak beat Auburn, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Forida Stateand others. Do you really think you are that much better than these teams. You barely beat Georgia Tech and Florida State. Would I like for Bryant to be more effective throwing deep? Of course, but we have still won.

where were you the last decade when your team was irrelevant?
I'm so sick of hearing all these bandwagon Miami fans. Y'all are one of the most bandwagon fan bases in the nation. I love seeing your home games prior to this year with about 12 people in the stands...
And Clemson will win by 10+, if you want to wager on it we can.

Funny how UL, VT, Auburn, USuCk all came on this board talking junk too.
1)We won't need to throw it beyond 10 yds to beat y'all.
2)Y'all are going to have to score pts to beat us, and I don't see you lighting up any scoreboard vs a team with an actual defense with an actual pulse.
We'll see if you're still around here on Sunday. I seriously doubt it.

Here's some stats for you to chew on....let's look at the more advanced metrics out there for the teams after all 12 (oh, I mean 11 for Miami) games have been played.
S&P+ of the offenses as a whole, defenses as a whole, and the O & D-Lines...guess you missed there's more to look at of a team than just a QB. Oh, btw, Take a guess who actually has the better PASSING S&P+...it's not Miami.
These facts can be found at the following, with full explanation of what each metric means.

Oh, wait. You didn't think I was done, did you, Mr. "The....toilet bowl shape"??
Now that you just viewed that per the S&P+, Clemson's Offense and Defense as a whole (both rushing and passing on both sides) and lines all are ranked better than Miami's, let add something to this. They are while playing on average better S&P+ Offenses and Defenses both. And let's preface this with the fact that Citadel and Bethune Cookman neither can be counted since they aren't FBS, and it also doesn't count the one team Miami never played on 9/9. Kent State and Toledo are counted though.

The Miami Hurricanes might have lost their second major player to injury in the past week, and this one is doubly distressing to the Hurricanes’ passing game as No. 7 Miami (10-1, 7-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) gets ready to face No. 1 Clemson (11-1, 7-1) on Saturday night in the ACC Championship Game.
Five days after senior tight end Christopher Herndon sustained a season-ending knee injury on Friday at Pittsburgh, sophomore receiver Ahmmon Richards, who last year broke Canes’ legend Michael Irvin’s freshman school receiving record, was injured Wednesday morning during practice and carted off Greentree Field, two sources told the Miami Herald.
The type of injury to Richards was not revealed. One source said he was surrounded by players and coach Mark Richt while he was attended to by trainers.
Miami, Clemson set for battle in ACC Championship with College Football Playoff implications The Miami Hurricanes are making their first appearance in the ACC Championship game against Clemson on Saturday. Coaches of both teams believe the winner gets into the College Football Playoff.
Eric Garland McClatchy
Richt declined to discuss Richards’ newest injury when approached by the Herald regarding Richards on Wednesday, saying he wouldn’t answer any questions.
Between Herndon (470 yards and four touchdowns) and Richards (439 yards and three touchdowns), the two accounted for 909 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
The 6-1, 190-pound Richards, a 2016 freshman All-American who had 934 receiving yards in 2016, has been plagued by hamstring injuries all season, and also at times had issues with an ankle and his achilles’ tendon, according to Richt recently.

Dude nobody is worried about the U. We have beat The Who's who of College football the last 7 years. They all say the same thing before the game But we never hear from them after the game. You keep believing what you want to in your delusional word. Reality will set in about 8:30 sat night CU 31 U 13

Why are we bandying words with a Yammy troll? If he really believes offensive stats will save them let him marinate in his delusion. The Cane fans are so confident in Rosier they are whining that Kaaya left for the draft or they would surely be undefeated. Yeah, the guy Dodd knocked out.
Yeah, anything is possible. But not wise to bet on the biggest underdog in the conference championship games.

People still think they're going to beat us because we "can't pass"? I love this argument because we've beaten everyone else "not passing" as well as top 25 offense. Good luck to the U.

What makes you think you can stop us? Nobody else has when we have been healthy. Your D ain't all that. You just happen to play a lot of weak offensive teams. Sorry but Auburn is much better defensively than "U" are. Couldn't resist!

This is why Clemson will win on Saturday:
Clemson ranked 10th in 3rd down conversions, Miami ranked 58th in 3rd down conversion defense. Clemson ranked 6th in 3rd down conversion defense, Miami ranked 121st in 3rd down conversions. Clemson ranked 50th in time of possession, Miami ranked 118th in time of possession
Miami is 41st in passing yards, Clemson is 9th in passing yards defense Miami is 122nd in rushing yards, Clemson is 14th in rushing defense.
Clemson is 28th in rushing offense, Miami is ranked 47th in run defense Clemson is 54th in passing offense (15 yards behind), Miami is ranked 44th in passing yards allowed.
The ONLY category Miami has an advantage is the total amount of turnovers. Miami has 29, coughed up 12 times. Clemson has gained 16 turnovers, given up 13 times. However, the points OFF turnovers is very similar, telling me, Clemson takes more advantage of their turnovers than Miami. Losing 3 big time starters on offense does not help you cause.
Clemson wins 41-17. Won't be close.
