coaches who decided to put in Stoudt.
And Dabo is a fool if he thinks "Stoudt gives the Tigers the best chance to win on the road."
And what does "the best player is going to play" mean? Does that mean get a snap here and there? If Dabo thought those boos were bad on Saturday, just wait if things don't go our way November 29th.

& ever since i've been coming to games...it's what some fans do. it has it's place & timing, but not booing your own player to the bench in favor of cheering for the next (who did play better). i didn't really hear the venomous booing that took place apparently, or maybe i just blew it off, like any player should when in the spotlight if he's concentrating on his game & not the fans or environment. remember, we need a cool, collective, executing QB (& RB's & O-line).
this is a little blown out of proportion now.
i never boo, unless necessary or against the refs or other team....and sometimes dumb@ss decisions made by the coaches. it's expressed as to whom is being booed by the boo's timing & follow-up comment, making it clear who is the boobooer...

you're either an upset coot or don't have a clue. when things don't go according to plan or how the fans wish it, they boo.
let's not be unrealistic & it's not new. thankfully we don't have to hear it much here at Clemson games because we usually kick butt! but when the fans don't get their way...well, you know what happens.
luckily, we're spoiled at Clemson by our teams usually doing very well at home.
now for officiating...? BAD CALLS ALWAYS GET BOOED!!! that's for the refs giving us the business
i'd much rather cheer for my team than down them...that just doesn't help anyone, unless you want to hurt the player's pride.
yet Cole even addressed this & said himself, something very similar to my other post: when he's out there, he drowns out the fans & noise & focuses on the game...he doesn't let the fans cheering him, or his fellow players & competition-mates bother him. he wants the team to win as well. i personally hope Cole has a better game & more scores against FSU! he's put in the dirt, would be nice to see it pay off...he's getting lots of yards, needs more scores & to improve his deep balls & accuracy/timing in general. That's a lot of INTs & really close ones as well so far this season... Deshaun Watson does look better on paper & with what he's accomplished per attempt. he looks very fluid & natural, cool-headed & quick to me. i say play them both, go with the one who's scoring the most per attempt until he makes an error...then sit him to collect himself & think about it, until his chance comes back around. seems like a simple & logical way to go about it.
you won't catch me booing a players effort on my team!
Go Tigers!

USuC 2006 when #37 was taken out of the game

and when #7 missed a field goal people booed. People booed when Maryland ran up and down the field on us in 2008. People booed when we couldn't do a #### thing on offense against BC last year. None of those were problems. But now, all of a sudden...

I think it is funny how people who weren't even at the game keep talking about the fans booing Stout. If they were actually at the game, they would have heard the announcement proceeding the boos which stated that the occlusion was no longer included in the stadium upgrades.

...all on your own! Yes I play drums in my spare time and played in tiger band at Clemson, how exactly is that an insult and what does it have to do with knowledge/coaching ability (which I currently coach at the high school level). But I digress, there's no need to brag on the Internet, especially when folks like you have all the answers.
And no, I didn't boo.

Booing didn't occur whenever he first went out on the field after DeShaun's drive...which would imply what you're ignorantly trying to say.

You don't seem to understand that even if the fans were booing the coaches decision, it is still an insult to Cole. Let's say you are playing in Tiger Band and I yell to the band director, "Put the other drummer in! This guy sucks!" Is that any better than if I were to yell to you directly, "You suck!"?
I like Watson, and it is frustrating to have him sitting on the sidelines, but booing where our players can hear you is thoughtless, classless, and disrespectful to them and the work they have put in to make this football team the best it can be.
You may argue that Cole needs to be a man and do what's best for the team, and if that is sitting on the sidelines he needs to swallow his pride. I would agree, and to this point Cole has never had a problem doing just that. If at some point the coaches tell him to sit again, I am sure that he would without complaint. However, he deserves our respect, and the boos were not appropriate behavior for fans of this football team.
