Stop the running in place after a score. Please

The start of all this is the music video for "Ritz Carlton" by Plies, a rapper who REALLY LIKES YELLING and, once upon a time, played wide receiver for Miami (Ohio) under his government name, Algernod Washington. (Here's a picture of him in action -- he's No. 5.) In the video, Plies claims to have "RAN OFF ON THE PLUG TWICE." As in, he got away without paying his drug hookup, then managed to do it again. He celebrates this accomplishment like this:
This was the story on yahoo today. GO TIGERS

If you think those dudes on that team aren't listening to rap, you're fooling yourself. Where do you think the dab came from? Here's a hint...it's not named after Dabo, but came from a rapper.
Our coach however, enjoys dancing with the players. You may be the only one who's cared enough to do the research all the way down to the lyrics in an obscure song...including our players who are doing it.

Did not do any research on this. Front page of yahoo. Would rather see our team doing something better then a thug acting like hes running from his dealer. Do the dab.

I think they should do the Hustle. You young guys don't have a clue what that is, but it used to be huge.

You should really look into what a dab is, especially west coast. You'll probably change your tune on that as well lol.

I did, so that you would understand. I'm leaving Saturday. Let's both worry about that and not this silly dance thing. Let the players do their thing and trust the coaches to keep them in line.
Safe travels, GO TIGERS!!!

But bragging about running away from paying a drug dealer not once but twice will most likely lead you to get shot dead by the next drug dealer on sight. Not sure I would endorse this.

That has an "outlaw" element - rock, country, hip hop or whatever.
I remember when "the Beatles" were Satin's voice. Funny how time changes perspective!

As a Dad - about to become all self righteous when my kids

Listened to NIN, heavy metal, Tupac and later hip hop.
My wife reminded me that I had about a dozen Grateful Dead albums, liked Clapton's " Cocaine" - not to mention Stones, Hendrix, Zeplin, Pink Floyd, Allman Brothers etc.
I let it go .... BTW I like old Tupac now. Go figure!
