Schieffelin better than PJ?

I’m starting to think so. PJ is awesome but I’m starting to believe Schieffelin will be better than PJ. He’s a better scorer and rebounder. He has a better FG% and 3pt% than Hall as well. What do you guys think?

Yeah I get that too. I could be wrong. Schef has just been killing it and his rebounding is off the charts.

Not nearly as talented, not even close. But he's a blue collar type of guy. You need those, along with talented skilled players. We wouldn't be anywhere without him and his type. Think back the last 40 years, we have had these guys during the good years.

Granted PJ is probably getting more double teams and the better defenders... but either way it is working for the team at the moment.

Mainly just his fg% and his 3pt% being higher.

Hood posted that PJ has been injured and is not practicing so are you doubting it?

Hard to say

Hall is better offensively. He always draws the best defenders and double teams. Hall can create he own shot too.
Schieffelin is definitely a better rebounder and passer
Both handle the ball well for big guys
Both are good a defense.
I think Schieffelin has become a smarter player though and controls his emotions a little better than PJ. You don’t see Schieffelin make those dumb fouls anymore, but that’s something PJ still needs to work on.
For this team - I think Schieffelin is more valuable. I think if you took Schieffelin away, it would hurt more than losing Hall. (Losing either would hurt a lot!)

pressure on the defensive focus he faces from other teams. He's their focus, Scheff gets more space and less focus to work against.
Without either we'd not be the same team. Without PJ, the offense would really struggle.

Silly question...
Ian has a higher % because he has attempted and made 3s than Hall...Hall is asked to play the 2 and the post....Ian is strictly in the post and "sometimes" gets left alone out beyond the arc....In perspective, if the game is on the line and we need an outside jumper to hit, Hall will be shooting and not Ian...This is of course with all do respect to Ian..Hes been great

Not a big basketball guy in general, but Hall looks to me like a guy that is used to being really good and kinda rides his past a little. Shieffelin looks like a guy that's had to claw his way for every inch of recognition he gets, and goes 100%. I prefer Shef, but like Hall a lot too. Shef def moves better to me than Hall. Rebounds MUCH better. Hall should be cleaning everything up with his size.

PJ is a gifted player but does work his tail off, Ian

is a good player that works his tail off to do the things others are not willing to do. His hustle alone would be enough to start every game for my team. He contributes in so many ways that the box score does not show.
PJ is an enigma. Great player, does not always play great, often times gets exhausted after a 4 minute spurt during games. Big guy so understandable but he does seem to get winded in most games even with all his foul trouble issues.
I honestly think Ian can have nice career in basketball. You cannot teach what he has, which is nose for the ball and has a knack for making the little plays that can help his team win.
Love them both, totally different players, but both Clemson Tigers!!
Go Tigers!!

I think he has come up bigger in our most important games. But as many have commented PJ probably gets way more attention from the opposing teams defensive plan. Hoping PJ will play his best this post season.

The NBA seems to think Hall is the guy. He will possibly be a first round pick.
