Makensie Alexander

Re-injured his groin now we have to wait another 2 weeks to see him play. He was our most hyped recruit but we have yet to see him play, that's the only reason why I was going to the State game is to see if he is good as advertised. I hope Dabo don't RS him cause I think he'll help our secondary.

he is gone in 3 years so the staff has no intentions to redshirt him. If they get 2 games out of him they will play him.

Yea it makes me wonder too. Maybe it's a nagging injury that takes weeks to heal. He's gonna be a good ball player but the wait is over Im ready to see him play!

Really? Were you really only going to the SCS vs Clemson game to see Alexander play? We only have seven home games.

Clemson football in different ways. People should let him enjoy (or not enjoy) the game the way he wants to.

he should make a full recovery and be fine. Provided that he lets it heal completely before going full speed.
I strained a groin muscle 5 years ago, and I guess because of my age(32) it hasn't been the same since. I've restrained it in the exact same place 3 times since the first injury. If I don't stretch it out a lot before I run, it seems like I'm guaranteed to reinjure it in at least a slight way. And even with extensive stretching it will still be a little sore.

Groin pulls can be incredibly difficult to get over.

Much like a hamstring pull, it can take quite a while to completely recover to where something does not inflame it again. Not sure his weight really has anything to do with this injury.

If going to a game just to see one Tiger play is the only reason for you going, then you sir, need to reflect on what it means to be a fan. Win or lose, you are a fan because you love the team. The program. The school. Clemson is who you love. Not just some fresh-out-of-high-school wonder boy who hasn't even stepped on the field yet and is not guaranteed to be a great player just because he had 5 star ranking coming out of high school.

I knew somebody was gonna say something like that. And its SC State dude come on, I'm going anyway just because it's a home game. And don't act like you not excited to Alexander play, I think the whole Tiger nation is.

just worry about themselves? He can go or not go to the games for whatever reasons he sees fit. Who are you to judge how good or bad of a fan someone is? Worry about yourself. Go to the games, yell, and most of all have fun. If he doesn't go, it's his loss, not yours.
