like this ? i would like to see them presentable, yes, but , imo, the suit and tie is just a tad over the top. and this being the only knock i have,we don't have much to worry about! so we are in good shape.

I think it's great. Kids like this usually complain about dressing up until you get them to do it. Then what they usually find is that it makes them feel good about themselves, and gives them a sense of self confidence. When my son first started playing golf he complained about having to dress up (He used to wear nothing but T-shirts and B-ball shorts). Now he wears nice clothes to school all the time. He carries himself differently now too. This is a great thing for these young men. I noticed Tajh was wearing a really nice suit at his interview too (not repuired by team rules but I guess he decided he likes looking good and feeling good.)

1) It shows unity within the ranks without wearing the gametime jersey.
2) It is classy! We got a bunch of classy gentlemen.
3) A suit is a "business look." No matter if they are on the Tiger Walk or stepping off a plane in Raleigh, they are going to take care of some business!!!
Go Go Get Em Tigers!!!

I wonder why they fly there

Raleigh is only a 2-3 hour drive from clemson if im not mistaken. It would seem to me that it would be cheaper to drive than fly especially to a destination that's not that far away, but maybe im wrong....

A late flight back is a heck of lot better than a three hour bus ride. IMHO

It's 4 - 4.5 hours by car hauling @ss to make it to Tiger Town by the end of happy hour on Friday evenings. I'd imagine it's 5 - 5.5 hours by bus.
GO TIGERS!!!!!

I've been living in Raleigh the past two years. It's every bit of 5 driving normally, 4.5 hauling butt. Took me 6.5 to get to Clemson for the UGA game on Friday night.

school like Clemson has the budget for it. Much less taxing on the athelete. No way they take a chance on a bus stuck on a backed up interstate for 6 or 7 hours the day before a game. That would be stupid.
