I mean 22. Accidentally put Hubert Davis twice.

So, he's up there with at least 8 HOF coaches. Not to mention, there are 350+ D1 coaches, so to be 1 of 22 is quite impressive, no?

I don’t think it’s much to draw on. It’s the exact data set that fits Brownell. It’s incidental for most of the other 21. Shift the time frame back one year and Brownell is one of 300+ coaches not on this list. Shift the time frame forward if he doesn’t make the Sweet Sixteen next season - same thing. Brownell has bought him self more time. He needs to stay amongst these coaches, not bop in for a quick visit once every 7 years.

If you want to quantify everyone’s place in this list, I’d assign a point for every victory in the tourney on a 1-6 scale for successive rounds. Add em all up over the period and see where everyone ranks.

It's definitely not mediocre.***

You're right - complete body of work of the last 14 years - NOT mediocre . . . . worse than mediocre.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.
