Best case scenario for Clemson....
Nov 15, 2016, 10:25 PM

1. Bama 2. Michigan (they beat Ohio St) 3. Clemson 4. Louisville
We will beat Michigan badly without their QB. Hopefully the winner of Bama/ Louisville comes into the championship game beat up like we did last year. I still contend that we beat Alabama by 10 points if Mackenzie Alexander didn't have the hammy.

If we beat Mich handily without thier QB why do you think Ohio state won't best them handily without thier QB? That makes no sense to me. Ohio state in Columbus will beat Michigan

You guys have one once in the last 10 years against OSU, and I suspect you have been underdogs for most of those games. Win a few before you start claiming you play good as dogs, please.

Disagree---Louisville will not make playoffs. All CU has to do is win out(of course they should do this) Their spot in the four will be secured. Everyone that counts has one more game than Looserville. UMich. probably will be better on O than before--the replacement Qb threw for 3k yds before he transferred from Houston and was the projected starter, so they will be OK. The biggest problem with #3 and 4 is they head out West. I would rather finish #1 (of Course) and play in Atlanta:)

I agree that I don't think Louisville will make it.

The only scenario that I can think of is something like Virginia Tech at 8-4 upsets Clemson and Florida at 9-3 upsets Alabama. But then Ohio State at 11-1 (if that's the case) will get in first.

Louisville CAN make the playoffs two ways. First step is they must win out. Then they would make it if Clemson was to lose another game. Easiest path.
A second path is to win out, and have Michigan win out. Then it's down to them vs PAC12 or Big12 champs. They need a 2 loss conference champion in both of those conferences. This is the harder path, obviously.
I put the chance of a Clemson loss at about 20-25%, based on our turnover habit and fickle D. The other path is less than 10% chance.

Just FYI about Michigan.

John O'Korn is not such a bad backup. He started at Houston for over a year. He's an experienced guy. And it's not like Wilton Speight is an all-world QB.
With Harbaugh as the head coach, I believe he'll get the team back on track.
I don't think we'll see much drop from Michigan offense. I'm not saying that they have a great offense in anyway though.

Michigan will not make the playoff, not without Spieth....js. Not beating OSU at the shoe. So much can still happen, but one thing is a stone cold lock.... Bama will be in the playoff and they will be number one. 2 thru 4 are up for grabs. My think
1. Bama 2. OSU 3. Clemson 4. Washington

Best case scenario for Clemson is a win over Wake, then over the coots, and then the conference title.A loss in any of those games ,and you don't have a scenario. One game at a time, starting Saturday night at Wake.
