And didn't mention where he played his college ball. If it had been like Jawga or Bama, I think they would've said so. Not trying to stir the pot but it's my opinion.

No, he said Richard Sherman may be the best in the league. This was right after Maxwell's pass breakup, where they mentioned Maxwell had stepped in well after an injury to the starter.

You guys missed all of what he said...he said Sherman is the

best in all of football. He said that Maxwell would be getting extra attention because the 49ers won't be throwing the ball toward Sherman.
I heard it the same way the first time, so I decided to rewind and listen again.
Still, Maxwell has done a great job in his 6 starts.

in both football and baseball? I will never forgive Auburn for that unpenalized spearing of Kyle which ruined his football career and had to slow his baseball career!

So what you take from all this was the fact that he couldn't touch his toes? Really? Either your moderately funny or a coot. I can think of only one profession where touching your toes would matter. Perhaps you sir can touch your toes, that's colorful indeed. But I'd rather be able the have a skill set of an elite NFL athlete. Just a thought..

Forgive me for thinking

that Strength and Conditioning would have something to do with hip flexibility for a CB which is the probably the most important criteria in judging said positions skill set.

You did watch the game, right? You gonna tell me that a near shut down corner like him doesn't hit the weights, train hard, or exemplify extraordinary flexibility?! Hes a starting CB for an NFL team for Pete's sake!!! And somehow you think Batson didn't fulfill his job? Good grief...

but it is an indictment of our strength and conditioning program that one of our players doesnt have the flexibility to touch his own toes directly out of the program.

Do you NOT remember your precious SEC skewls and other teams dropping like flies in the second half?! Cause if you were a Clemson fan, you'd remember teams like LSU and ThUGA faking injuries cause they weren't as conditioned as us. So please, back off our strength program. Cause it's unwarranted!

Please dont defend Batson...

Except that conditioning is only one part of S&C and Chad Morris with the HUNH are responsible for that conditioning. Do everything at break neck speed in practice and you must stay fit.
The problem is that Batson wants to produce bigger guys like weightlifters but not lean muscle which is what you really want. Stanford has been all over this and it is why they went from nobodies to amazing almost overnight--same thing with Fitz and USCjr--any correlation with their decline and his departure??
