Good morning, Tiger fans. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with lots of joy and great food. I got up really early and cooked and cleaned and enjoyed family and friends all day. When it came time to sit still to do my weekly prayers, I fell asleep instead! So, forgive me for posting a tad late.
It always amazes me how quickly I get to the last post of the regular season's prayer list. It seems like it takes forever to BE football season and then it disappears so quickly. Two more games to go for our guys. Let's send them out with all the good thoughts we can muster!
This week I ask prayers for Tyler Brown, TJ Parker, Kylon Griffin, Payton Streko, Tristen Rigby, Robert Gunn, Philip Florenzo, Ian Reed, Walker Parks, Mitchell Mayes, and Zach Jackson. May any injury or illness be healed, may their hearts and spirits be filled with love and a sense of accomplishment. May their course work be fulfilling, leading them into a bright and positive future. May they find success in all their goals. May they know that they are loved, important to many, and may they always know their worth to themselves and those who love them.
I also ask prayers for all the unnamed support staff and people associated with the team who do so much for so many and (because their names aren't listed on the roster) don't get included on my list in the regular season. They are vital to the effort, and I do pray for them and their well-being.
And to everyone who reads this weekly, even the T-netter who keeps praying for me to pray in private, thank you for putting up with me. I wish you all the happiest of holidays.
