we needed to throw deep more often. We rarely tried to stretch the field. CMorris made sure to do that on a regular basis.

Hard to throw deep when your QB can't see wide open receivers, much less hit them with accuracy.

Well, when you can’t hit ‘em from 5 yards, 50 seems a stretch. Also by the time the receivers had time to run 20, DJ would panic and stumble up the middle.
