For striking a female regardless of the reasons. Saban didn't sit Burton for "what appeared to be him striking a Tennessee female fan". I guess it's Saban's prerogative to do what he wants and maybe the female was threatening to Burton. I just don't think Dabo would tolerate one of his players striking anyone, especially fans at a game.

ESPN reported that he didn’t suspend the player because the player was afraid. More like Saban was afraid of the players to do anything. Sounds like something Jimbo would do. To many coaches are afraid to discipline their layers and soon it won’t be long before we see players attacking other players on the field and sidelines.
