the future of Clemson football? First of all, Dabo has been grooming these guys for years for this opportunity; they are not fallback hires, or cost-cutting hires; they are exactly who the guy who built 2 National Champions and perennial playoff teams wanted. And the idea that these guys are a couple of greenhorns who may crap the bed is laughable. First, Streeter is a proven coordinator (6 years), and has schooled for 7 years under Dabo and Elliott/Scott. Wes Goodwin has NFL experience for God's sake, and has been praised by the coach who won the super bowl. Does any of that mean they will be succcessful at Clemson? NO - there are no guarantees, but if they fail it won't be because of a lack of knowledge or experience at a sufficent level. Come on people, be happy for Venables and Elliott, and let's look forward to a new era of Clemson football!
