i haven't even been on the boards this week. My heart hurt too much. It hurt for our team and our coaches. It hurt for those who are so invested in the record that we lose sight of our decency and humanity. I just didn't want to be involved in the ugly. I prefer to continue to lift our guys up in prayers so that they know that life is more than a game. so this week, I will pick another group of student athletes to pray for. I will pray for their health, for traveling mercies as they make their way up to New York and that they return home safely. I pray for Andrew Mukuba, Adam Randall, Shelton Lewis and Avion Terrell. I pray for Jaylyn Phillips, Ruke Orhorhoro and Brodey Conn. I pray for Walt Smith, Reed Morrisey and Sam Judy. I pray for Levi Matthews and Jackson Crosby. I pray that their hearts are full and that they know they are treasured. I pray that their minds are clear and that they have been able to focus on their assignments, completing the tasks set before them. I pray that their friends are supportive and their classes bring them better understanding and growth. I pray that they remain healthy and without injury. ( and if they have injuries, that they heal quickly and fully)
I pray for patience and understanding and that I am able to extend the grace to others that I would like to receive.
