CLEMSON -- According to sources, the NCAA has granted a waiver to Clemson defensive back Ray Ray McElrathbey for special assistance. Clemson University prepared a waiver in August to allow funds and contributions to be collected to help McElrathbey and his brother, Fahmarr.

McElrathbey gained custody of his 11-year-old brother, but previously had not been able to receive any help because of NCAA rules. More details to come.
