The McCloud family wants Clemson fans to know that they are All In.
A report surfaced Wednesday that new Florida head coach Jim McElwain visited with 2015 Clemson commit
Ray Ray McCloud Ray Ray McCloud The 5-9, 190-pound playmaker has been a Clemson commit since late July, but rumors have continued to swirl about a possible flip to Florida. TigerNet spoke with Ray McCloud, Jr., and he said that the reports that keep circling around his son are simply not at all true, but did add that a possible summer enrollment is on the table because of a family situation and not any dissatisfaction with Clemson. As of right now, however, he is still scheduled to enroll in January. “Y'all can't listen to what people say. He hasn't decided when he's going to enroll,” McCloud said early Wednesday evening. “Right now he's coming in January. The other day he was thinking about it because he and his brother are really close, but you know how kids are. If you tell one person something like that, then they take it as he's not coming.” So what would his message be to Clemson fans who continue to agonize over his son’s recruitment? McCloud said that the continued rumors have upset his wife and he had a special statement for Tiger fans. “You let the Clemson people know that we are a family of honor,” McCloud said. McCloud said the information that other sites have posted about his son making hush-hish visits to Florida are definitely not true and that his son is “Clemson all the way.” “I don't even know where this stuff comes from,” he said. “Ray is Clemson all the way. We try to not to stir the pot. One thing I do is I converse with coaches. I deal with a lot of kids, so anytime Ray or I deal with a coach - I don't know how they get their information but they are getting the wrong information.”
