Clemson running back Travis Etienne suffered an injury in the first quarter against Syracuse on Saturday night.

Etienne took a hard hit to the side of his head by a knee to the helmet on the one-yard line.

Tigernet will update you when we have more information on his injury.

Update 1: He jogged off the field on his own.

Update 2: The trainers were looking at his head and neck area.

Update 3: He is sitting on the sideline with a smile on his face.

Update 4: ESPN's Maria Taylor updated ETN's status saying that trainers checked out his neck and shoulder but he said he was ok. He was ready to come back in on the series he got hurt on.

Update 5: Etienne is back in the game with 2:51 left in the first quarter.

Update 6: Etienne has 9 rushes for 40 yards at halftime.
