Swinney updates injuries on team |
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney spoke to the media on his weekly teleconference on Sunday and updated his team injuries after Saturday's 56-3 domination against Kent State.
The Tigers escaped the game very healthy as the only injury mentioned was starting safety Van Smith. "Healthwise we came out of it pretty good," Swinney said. "I will know a little bit more on Van (Smith) tomorrow. He felt a lot better today, but I will see where he is at tomorrow. He left the game with a sprain in his knee. We held him out the second half, but he looked a lot better today. So hopefully he will be OK, but I will know more tomorrow." Smith was seen with an ice pack on his right knee on the sidelines on Saturday. Swinney also said that defensive tackle Jabril Robinson will be back at practice tomorrow after being suspended for the Kent State game for a violation of team rules.
