Clemson commitment and Dorman wide receiver Charone Peake scored three times in Dorman's 49-28 win over Fort Dorchester in the second round of the 4A Division I playoffs.
Peake's three touchdowns came in the first 14 minutes on a 21-yard TD pass, a 35-yard TD pass and a 70-yard punt return for a TD. He finished with 119 receiving yards on eight receptions. Peake also surpassed 2500 receiving yards for his career. “I never thought I would say this about another receiver, but he may be as good as A.J. Green,” Fort Dorchester coach Steve LaPrad told the Summerville Journal. “For his size, he is just so fast.” Dorman (13-0) will host Irmo (11-2) Friday for the chance to return to the title game and also to have the first undefeated season in school history. Dorman has outscored opponents 453-161 this season.
