DeAndre McDaniel is one of the most highly thought of verbal commitments Clemson has landed this season. The Tallahassee native has heard the rumors of Florida State coming after him, and he says it is nothing to worry about.

"My commitment to Clemson is firm. I'm firm. My Dad wants me to take some visits, but I will end up at Clemson. Your parents always just want to make sure you make the right decision. Last weekend let me know I had made the right decision."

How did McDaniel feel on his visit?

"I really wish I had been out there. It was really a dominating performance. There are not many teams that can do that to Florida State. I want to get on the field at Clemson and start winning championships."

Is McDaniel actively recruiting his teammate Kareem Crowell?

"Yeah, I have been doing that for awhile. He told me he would take a visit, and he did that. I knew if I could get him there with me, it would get him thinking. The performance by the team and the fans really impressed both of us. Clemson gave him something to think about, I will say that."
