4-star 2018 cornerback Brendan Radley-Hiles from Bradenton, FL will announce his college decision during the U.S. Army All-American game on Jan. 6.
Radley-Hiles has a final four of Clemson, Florida State, Oklahoma, and UCLA. He has national offers from Alabama, Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, BYU, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Houston, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Nevada, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Oregon State, Penn State, San Diego State, South Carolina, TCU, Tennessee, Texas, UCLA, USC, Utah, Washington State, and Wisconsin. He is a teammate of Clemson signees linebacker Mike Jones Jr. and defensive end Xavier Thomas at IMG Academy. The 4-star defensive back visited Clemson alongside IMG teammates Nolan Smith, Jones Jr. and Thomas for the Auburn game this season. Bradley-Hiles told TigerNet the following about his visit to Clemson. "We watched the game. We got to go on an academic tour, and we saw the new facility," he said. "I received the offer, and that was pretty much it." Bradley-Hiles thought it was a great unofficial visit for him and his family. "I had a great time. It was full of great people. It was a great game that I got to witness," Radley-Hiles said. "It was just a visit. I went to go explore to make sure I'm making the correct decision. It was an overall great visit." He was also able to spend some one-on-one time with Clemson coach Dabo Swinney. "I had a 45-minute talk with him, and I got to talk about who I am as a person, what I stand for, and altogether just who I am,” Radley-Hiles of the visit with Clemson’s head coach. "We talked about the program. We talked about the future. We talked about what I should be doing for the game purposes. He wanted me to visualize myself in the game and not just be a regular recruit. He wanted me to make sure I could see myself making plays in big games like that. He's a great guy, and he's cool, but he's straight to it. He's serious about his job. I understand he likes to have fun a lot, but then he's a guy that gets down to business." On offense, he scored 11 touchdowns last season to help Calabasas to a 14-1 season.
