Clemson commitment Isaiah Battle is ready to sign with Clemson on Wednesday. Clemson was the first team to offer Battle early in his junior year when the 6-7 , 270 lbs. tackle was still very raw.

“If you watch his senior highlights and junior highlights you’d see a big difference in his ability to finish blocks,” Blue Ridge coach Del Smith told the Charlottesville Daily Post.

Smith said Battle still has some work to do academically and if he doesn't qualify he will head to a prep school for a year before enrolling at Clemson.
