Clemson receiver Mike Williams suffered a neck injury as he hit a padded goalpost while scoring a touchdown in the first quarter vs. Wofford today. He was moving extremities and was taken to Oconee Hospital in Seneca.

Swinney on Williams' condition during his halftime interview: “They think he’s OK. … Don’t want to take any chances but so far, so good."

Williams had two catches for 20 yards on Saturday.

Update: Mike Williams continues to undergo tests at the hospital. He is standing and has full use of extremities. Tests will continue today.

Williams had 1,030 receiving yards and 6 TDs last season and 77 catches for 1,346 yards and nine touchdowns in his career.
