Former Clemson standout kicker Chandler Catanzaro has signed with the New York Jets on Friday according to a team release.

"Thankful to have played three seasons in the desert! I will never forget my teammates and coaches," Catanzaro posted on his Instagram account. "I will be forever grateful for the opportunity to be a Cardinal." Isaiah 43:19

In three years with Arizona as the starter, he hit an impressive 84.8% of his field goals and had 140 touchbacks. Back during his rookie year in 2014, Catanzaro made a 43-yard field goal against the Rams, and it tied the NFL record for most field goals to start an NFL career (17) with Kai Forbath. Catanzaro signed a free agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals after the 2014 NFL draft. It was a one-year deal for $420,000.

Catanzaro is the all-time leading scorer at Clemson with 404 points. He set Clemson records for PATs made, field goals of 40+ yards (24) and consecutive field goals (20). His career totals were 67 out of 82 field goals and 203 out of 207 extra point attempts.
