4-star DT target to announce Friday

by -

Four-star 2019 Antioch, California defensive tackle Jacob Bandes announced that he will make his college decision at 8 p.m. Eastern on Friday, August 17.

Bandes indicated that he was planning before to commit at the Army All-American Bowl but has changed that plan due to enrolling early. Clemson offered the Opening Finals DL MVP at the end of July and is reportedly competing with Colorado, Illinois, Oregon and Washington for a commitment.

Bandes announced earlier this month that he has an official visits set with Illinois (Sept. 8) and Oregon (Oct. 12). Per 247Sports, Washington was another official visit set for Dec. 15. He has not visited Clemson as of yet.

Bandes tallied eight tackles for loss and 50 stops total with six sacks for Pittsburg High School last season.
