Clemson will host Vanderbilt as the home team in a potential elimination game for the Tigers Sunday night.
The game will air at 6 p.m. on SEC Network in a must-win game for Clemson to force a Monday winner-take-all for the regional (4 p.m.). Clemson will throw freshman RHP Spencer Strider (5-1, 4.07 ERA) versus Vanderbilt freshman RHP Mason Hickman (7-2, 4.96 ERA). Hickman surrendered six earned runs on six hits over 5 2/3 innings in his last outing on May 19. Strider last pitched on May 23 and gave up three earned runs on four hits over two innings versus Notre Dame. Clemson will be the home team for a potential Monday game as well.
