Tavien Feaster
Tavien Feaster "Everytime I stepped on campus I felt like a family member down there. The preach family and I can see it is real down there at Clemson," Feaster said. "I've known for about 5 days now. What kind of made it final was my mom loves it at Clemson. It made me happy that she was happy. My mom is everything to me." Feaster chose the Tigers over his other finalists: Auburn and Tennessee (other hats on table). Feaster added some drama to his announcement by pulling the Auburn hat first, then the Tennesse hat and finally chose the Clemson hat after help from his mother. "They told me if I come in there and work hard enough that I am going to go places and be where I want to be in the next couple of years," Feaster said. "In their offense I think I can do pretty much anything I want to do. We run the same offense here in Spartanburg." Some of his national offers included Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee and others. Feaster said he decided to announce on Wednesday so that he could concentrate on his senior season. "I get a lot of phone calls at night," feaster said. "The recruiting process is kind of stressful on me and my parents. I feel like I got it out the way and basically I already know what I want to do so it will make qualifying and everything like that easier for me. I can go into my senior year playing great football and focus on my team and my senior year." As a junior, Feaster had 63 carries, 601 yds, 9.5 avg, 8 touchdowns and 27 receptions for 623 yds and seven touchdowns despite having an injured shoulder for most of the year. In the 2014 state title game, he rushed for 130 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries. He also had five receptions for 132 yards and a touchdown and a 44 yard interception return. Feaster has rushed for over 2700 yards and 19 touchdowns the past two seasons and had 95 receptions for 1800 yards and 23 touchdowns. He was also the previous state champion in the 100 meter(10.59) and 200 meter(21.29). Feaster is the 7th commitment for the 2016 class and along with WR Cornell Powell and LB Jamie Skalski is the third 2016 commitment for the Tigers on Signing Day. Perfect way to end a GREAT DAY TO BE A TIGER!!!! #Clemson #Speedkills #Sonic16
