Clemson has offered 3-star 2016 athlete
Jacob Morgenstern
Jacob Morgenstern TigerNet spoke with Morgenstern on Saturday afternoon and he thinks the Clemson offer is "an awesome opportunity." Morgenstern was able to speak with Brent Venables who gave him the offer. "Coach Venables got me fired up when I was on the phone with him last night. He said they love me and I really felt that from him. He told me all about Clemson and I couldn't be more excited to see for myself." He plans to visit Clemson in the near future. "I'm looking forward to taking a visit at some point." The Connecticut product took snaps last season at running back, wide receiver, strong safety, outside linebacker and returned punts for his high school. The Clemson coaching staff appears very confident in his abilities and open to him playing several positions. "He told me I can really play wherever I want on either side of the ball which I thought was awesome." Morgenstern has offers from Boston College, Buffalo, Clemson, Connecticut, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Temple, Wisconsin, and Yale. As a junior, he had 32 rushes for 382 yards and five touchdowns and 22 catches for 683 yards and 10 touchdowns. He also had 65 tackles, five interceptions, three forced fumbles and a sack and two punt return touchdowns. He is also a talented baseball player. What have I done to be so fortunate? The Clemson University has offered me!!! #GoTigers #GlorytoGod http://t.co/NsMlmIUBUU
