Swinney updates injury status of Kevin Dodd |
Dabo Swinney talked to the media on Sunday for his weekly teleconference and had the following information of the health status of Clemson defensive end
Kevin Dodd.
Dodd was seen after the Miami game walking around with a protective walking boot. "It's plantar fasciitis," Swinney said. "He was able to come back in and finish the game. We will manage him throughout the week and he should be ready to go." According to Wikipedia, Plantar fasciitis, also known as plantar fasciosis or jogger's heel, is a disorder that results in pain in the heel and bottom of the foot. The pain is usually most severe with the first steps of the day or following a period of rest. Dodd has 29 tackles and 4.5 sacks on the season. Swinney said the players of the game on offense were the entire Clemson offensive line, players of the game on defense were the entire defense with the shutout and the player of the game on special teams was linebacker Dorian O'Daniel.
